CITY ARENA has become the CONSTRUCTION OF THE YEAR 2015
The multifunctional CITY ARENA complex is located on the outskirts of the central city zone of Trnava, next to the urban conservation area. The entire complex consists of a football stadium and a shopping center, which also includes a covered pedestrian zone. The football stadium stands on the site of Antonín Malatinský stadium. The shopping center with its facilities was built on the former parking lot. The entire complex has an excellent location, direct connection to the historic city center, is in a walking distance and conveniently accessible by car.
City residents and visitors not only appreciate the fact that this complex was built on the now extremely popular spot where A. Malatinský stadium once stood, but also the fact that the city center became much more lively and attractive. CITY ARENA is perceived as a new, lively and valuable element of Trnava.
